NOTICE REGARDING COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS)
Thursday, March 12, 2020
Doctors' Urgent Care Offices have been diligently working and taking precautionary measures to prepare our offices and staff for COVID-19 (Coronavirus) using the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) along with many state and local health departments. We will continue with these meticulous measures to protect the health of our patients, staff and the communities we serve in these uncertain times.
With information changing rapidly, we encourage everyone to stay current on the latest educational resources. We encourage you to visit frequently the www.cdc.gov and www.osha.gov websites for current recommendations in keeping your workplace, homes, and other areas safe.
Following are some of the precautionary measures being used to keep our patients and offices protected: All offices have adopted additional daily cleaning and sanitation procedures. Personal protective equipment will continue to be used at high levels to reduce risks within the medical office. Additional signage in all offices will encourage patients to assist
our staff with more quickly alerting staff of potential concerns, and medical
staff will address and separate patients with potential COVID-19 exposure more
quickly in the registration process. We are
encouraging everyone to exercise patience with these and many other additional
steps that will assist in keeping all of us safe.
If you believe you have been exposed to COVID-19, we encourage calling our offices as the initial step. Questions asked by our staff over the phone will allow our team to provide the latest treatment guidelines. Through these series of questions, we will assist in getting the patient to the correct place of care for their safety and the safety of the community in which they live.
While there are sure to be many questions that will continue throughout the process, we look forward to working together through the challenges brought on by COVID-19. We appreciate your continued trust in Doctors' Urgent Care Offices.
