Doctors’ Urgent Care Offices Updated COVID-19 Screening and Testing Process
Tuesday, November 3, 2020

Doctors’ Urgent Care Offices continues to provide a convenient, safe and expedited option for evaluation, screening and testing of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) during the pandemic.

Our screening and evaluation process continues to be based on current guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as State and County health departments.

Patients can go to any Doctors’ Urgent Care Offices location or use our convenient option of a telehealth visit with our providers for the initial screening and evaluation. The medical condition for each patient will be evaluated by a provider for potential symptoms (i.e., fever greater than 100.4 degrees, cough, shortness of breath, chills, loss of taste or smell, headache, body ache and others) prior to COVID-19 testing.

If you would like to begin your visit via telehealth, you can email a visit request to and our telehealth team will gather your information and perform the medical evaluation. After the telehealth visit, you will be directed to the most convenient Doctors’ Urgent Care Office for collection of a sample for testing. Collection of a sample may be performed at a patient’s vehicle in order to limit exposure for the patient and others.

We use a highly accurate lab-based molecular (PCR) test. Lab results are typically available in 2-4 days.

Charges relating to the medical evaluation and COVID-19 testing will be billed to personal insurance or can be paid at the time of the visit by the patient.
