COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Medical Services Update: Where Should You Go For Care?
Wednesday, March 18, 2020

Establishment of COVID-19 Assessment and Treatment Locations at Area Hospitals:
The hospital systems and medical providers all around the area are working together to provide a system and process for much requested COVID-19 assessment and testing. These efforts include the establishment of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) ongoing assessment and treatment locations that are being organized by hospitals in and around our service areas. These efforts are being led by the Ohio Department of Health and Ohio Hospital Association. Similar efforts are taking place in Kentucky.

To find a COVID-19 assessment and treatment location near you, please contact the Ohio Department of Health hotline at 1-833-4-ASK-ODH (1-833-427-5634). The hotline provides information from licensed nurses and infectious disease experts to assist callers. The Kentucky COVID-19 Hotline is 1-800-722-5725.

All Non-COVID-19 Illnesses and Injuries Can Still be Treated at Doctors' Urgent Care Offices:
Doctors' Urgent Care Offices will continue to remain open to treat patients for all other health care needs. Especially at this time when the hospitals are specifically focused on COVID-19 assessment and testing, using Doctors' Urgent Care for all other medical needs is a very appropriate option as we all need to work to use our medical resources wisely in this time of uncertainty.
